Immaculate Heart of Mary School places great emphasis on utilizing modern technology to enhance the learning process. Regardless of course of study or career goals, a solid grasp of technology skills is fostered in our school each and every day. In classrooms from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, we strive to uphold a curriculum that correlates with the National Technology Standards for Students (NETS). In addition, our school follows an Acceptable Use Policy provided from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to promote safe and ethical use of the Internet and all other technologies.
Technology has become an essential part of daily life and we incorporate cutting-edge technology in our school to enrich the ways in which our teachers teach and our students learn. Our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and projectors. Ninety netbooks are available for students, as well as a fully outfitted computer lab. Modern web tools and resources expand and support the world of learning for our students.
With today’s rapidly advancing technology, we are always in need of funds to purchase new equipment to keep our school in the forefront of educational technology. Donations of funds can be designated for a particular item or area of use or given with no specifications. We are grateful for your donations of any denomination.
