Immaculate Heart of Mary School prepares students to receive the Sacraments of First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. 

Preparing to receive a Sacrament of the Church is a unique and spiritually enriching experience for a child. During the preparations for and reception of a sacrament, families are blessed with opportunities to affirm and celebrate their Catholic faith.

This process is carried out not only by classroom discussion and teaching, but also through participation in prayer, special celebrations and service to others. In this way, our students are led to a closer relationship with God, other children, and the total Christian faith community.

Our 2nd grade students prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. 

Our 7th Grade students prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. 

Sacraments are Parish celebrations, and therefore, are celebrated with the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Faith Community.

Applications for Candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation at
Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Fall of 2023, will be sent home with your 6th grade student in March 2023.  Confirmation will be during the Fall of Grade 7.
