Cares for the 24/25 School YearCares update for 9/5/24
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We just wanted to go over a few reminders for the CARES Program, that is starting next Monday, September 9th, 2024. As for the Hours of operation for CARES, CARES will be open Monday-Thursday 3pm-6pm. CARES will only have modified hours on Fridays. The hours on Fridays are 3pm-5pm.
As for your CARES paperwork, if you do not hand in your paperwork by Friday, September 6th, 2024, your child cannot start CARES on Monday, September 9th, 2024, even if you paid the registration fee. CARES Registration closes on Friday, September 6th, 2024, if you do not complete the paperwork and send in the registration fee your child cannot attend CARES for the school year.
This year for CARES we will be doing things a little differently. There will no longer be green or blue slips for CARES. This year you will be using Google Forms to sign your child up for CARES. The Google Forms link will be emailed to the emails you wrote on the registration forms. Sign up links will be sent out Thursday and will close by end of the school day on Friday. If the form is not filled out your child will not be registered for CARES for the following week.
When you fill out the Google Form, please make sure you are writing your child’s first and last name, and what days they are attending CARES that week.

Only for this week only we will send the google form email tomorrow, Friday, September 6th, 2024 instead of today. This way it will give you all an opportunity to hand in your registration forms and fee by tomorrow. We will send the google form email, by tomorrow at the end of the school day.
