Since its establishment in 1952, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish has distinguished itself as a vibrant, welcoming congregation with zeal for our Catholic faith. For nearly 60 years, the story of IHM parish has been one of growth and change. The dedication of all those who have readily volunteered so much of their time, energy and faith has contributed to making the IHM Parish Community a beacon of light and a sign of hope and charity in a hostile world.
The Mission of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish is to foster full participation in the life and mission of the Catholic Church. This participation is expressed in: Worshipping God in spirit and truth, particularly through the celebration of the Eucharist and the other sacraments of the Church; Proclaiming, in word and deed, the Good News of Jesus Christ to all persons; Loving and serving the needs of all our brothers and sisters, particularly the poor and the needy; Creating and nourishing the Christian Community in family, parish and society; Teaching the saving message of Christ, so that all believers may come to a deeper understanding, conversion and witness to Christ.
